Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor Shares Latest on Joe Burrow's Calf Injury
CINCINNATI — Bengals head coach Zac Taylor didn't share much on Joe Burrow's status, but it certainly sounds like the star quarterback could miss time.
"I don't yet," Taylor said when asked if he had an update on Burrow. "He's still sore today. He did it on one of the final three plays of the game. He's just sore."
Taylor was asked if Burrow could be shut down for a few weeks. He didn't tip his hand in either direction.
"I think first of all we gotta hear what the doctors have to say," he said. "Once we have that information we'll figure out what we're gonna do."
Burrow initially injured his calf on July 27. He missed five weeks of practice and the entire preseason. Unfortunately, he tweaked the same calf on Sunday against the Ravens.
