Bengals Injury Roundup: Joe Burrow's Status, Updates on Joseph Ossai and Nick Scott

The Bengals star quarterback took a step in the right direction on Friday.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow (calf) returned to practice on Friday as his quest to play against the Rams this week continues.

After not participating in Thursday's session, Burrow threw passes during the open media portion of practice and even looked like he was going to go through team drills

Burrow was officially "limited" on Friday, but it's a step in the right direction for the Bengals star quarterback.

Joseph Ossai (ankle) was a full participant for a second-straight session. He's on track for Monday's game and should make his season debut.

Nick Scott (concussion) and Tycen Anderson (calf) also practiced for a second-straight day.

Irv Smith Jr. (hamstring) and Akeem Davis-Gaither (knee) were new additions to the injury report. Both players were limited.
