Broncos Releasing Former All-Pro Justin Simmons, Safety Market Becomes More Saturated

Denver Broncos Releasing Former All-Pro Justin Simmons, Safety Market Becomes More Saturated
In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are expected to sign a veteran safety in free agency and they'll have plenty of options.

The Broncos are release Justin Simmons on Thursday. The former All-Pro becomes the latest veteran to hit the market.

Cincinnati should be able to find value at safety. Adding a veteran to go with the young trio of Dax Hill, Jordan Battle and Tycen Anderson shouldn't be a challenge.

Seven veteran safeties have been released recently. Throw in an unrestricted free agent class that includes Geno Stone, Alohi Gilman, Darnell Savage and Jordan Fuller—and it's reasonable to expect the Bengals to add a good player at that position without using significant cap space.
