Chargers Request Interview With Bengals OC Brian Callahan For Head Coaching Job

Multiple teams are interested in Callahan.

CINCINNATI — The Chargers requested an interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan for their head coaching job according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. 

Callahan is also expected to interview for the Panthers head coaching job. 

The Bengals have been able to keep Zac Taylor's staff together over the past three seasons, which includes two division titles and one AFC Championship. 

Callahan interviewed for multiple head coaching jobs last offseason, but ultimately returned to Cincinnati. This could be the year he gets his chance. 

UPDATE: Callahan has received four interview requests: The Falcons, Chargers, Panthers and Titans want to meet with him about their head coaching job.
