Dan Pitcher Has Multiple Interviews Scheduled, Including Second Meeting With Saints

The Bengals quarterbacks coach has caught the attention of multiple teams.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals already lost offensive coordinator Brian Callahan to Tennessee, as the 39-year-old has agreed to become the next head coach of the Titans. Is Dan Pitcher next? 

The Bengals quarterbacks coach is the favorite to replace Callahan, but he has multiple interviews scheduled with other teams.

Albert Breer is reporting that Pitcher is scheduled to head to New Orleans for a second interview on Thursday. He also has a virtual interview with the Patriots on Tuesday and an in-person meeting with the Raiders on Wednesday. 

It's worth noting that former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is on Antonio Pierce's staff in Las Vegas. 

Lewis hired Pitcher in 2016 when he was still in Cincinnati. 

The Bengals want to keep Pitcher and promote him to offensive coordinator, but they certainly have competition for his services. 

Bengals QBs coach Dan Pitcher has a second interview for the Saints OC job in New Orleans on Thursday (he interviewed virtually last week), per source. Pitcher interviews with the Pats tomorrow; with the Raiders in Vegas Wednesday.
