Bengals Legend Dave Lapham Offers Up Big Praise for 2023 Roster on Back Together Saturday
CINCINNATI — Not many people know the Bengals better than Dave Lapham.
From playing for Cincinnati from 1974-83, to serving as their radio analyst since 1986, Lapham is a Bengals legend.
He wasn't shy about praising the current roster during Back Together Saturday. He believes this is already one of the best teams in franchise history.
“This is the deepest [Bengals] football team I’ve seen," Lapham told Hoard in front of thousands of fans. "This is the fastest football team I’ve seen with the Cincinnati Bengals.”
The Bengals have won 27 games (including playoffs) over the past two seasons. They'll look to top their 13.5-win average this year.
More importantly, they're hoping to win the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
