Former Bengals Wide Receiver John Ross III Retires From NFL
CINCINNATI — Former Bengals wide receiver and current Chief John Ross III has retired from the NFL.
Ross was the ninth overall pick by Cincinnati in 2017 and most famously ran a 4.22 40-yard dash, which is the fastest time in NFL Combine history.
He wraps his career with 62 catches for 957 yards and 11 touchdowns across 37 games. Ross hadn't played in a game since 2021.
