Look: Jessie Bates Has Dinner With His Agent and Multiple Atlanta Falcons Stars, Including AJ Terrell
CINCINNATI — Bengals safety Jessie Bates is set to become a free agent in a few weeks. Could the Atlanta Falcons be a good fit?
Bates had dinner with his agent David Mulugheta on Saturday night. He was also with multiple Falcons players, including Kyle Pitts, Casey Hayward and AJ Terrell.
It's worth noting that Mulugheta represents all four players.
Atlanta is projected to have over $56 million in cap space, which is currently the second-most in the NFL.
The Bengals placed the franchise tag on Bates prior to the 2022 season. He had 71 tackles and four interceptions. They aren't expected to use the tag on Bates again, which means he'll become a free agent in March and will be able to sign with any team.
