Joe Burrow Ranked Much Lower Than Expected on Latest Quarterback Tier List

Burrow missed seven games this season due to a wrist injury he suffered in November.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow is no longer elite. Well, that's what one analyst believes.

Ben Solak of The Ringer ranked Burrow in the "great" category on his recent quarterback tiers list alongside Dak Prescott, Matt Stafford, C.J. Stroud, Trevor Lawrence and Jordan Love.

He had Justin Herbert, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in the "elite" tier and Patrick Mahomes in the top category by himself.

Burrow missed seven games due to a season-ending wrist injury and played through a calf strain at the beginning of the year, but this is the latest example of the Bengals star being overlooked.

NFL executives would certainly have Burrow higher on this list. The idea that he's in the same tier as Love, Prescott or Lawrence is laughable. Herbert got injured this season too and somehow remained in the elite category.

After a weekend of hearing how Mahomes vs Allen is the new Manning vs Brady, Bengals fans shouldn't be surprised to see Burrow mentioned with fringe top-10 quarterbacks. It may not be accurate, but the narrative continues to grow.
