CINCINNATI — Bengals running back Joe Mixon was back at practice on Sunday, but declined to talk to reporters. It was his first session since he was found not guilty in an aggravated menacing case.

The 27-year-old also announced that he wouldn't take questions from specific reporters from ESPN, The Cincinnati Enquirer, Pro Football Network and Sports Illustrated's AllBengals.com.

"It's not happening," Mixon said when about the possibility of talking with reporters in the locker room.

The 27-year-old walked to the training room, before returning a few minutes later to watch an intense game of ping-pong game between four teammates.

It's been an eventful offseason for Mixon. He's dealt with off-field issues on two separate occasions.

He was found not guilty of aggravated menacing last week. He was charged after police said he pointed a gun at a woman and said he should shoot her.

Mixon is also facing a civil lawsuit after a teenager and former next-door neighbor was shot in the foot while playing with Nerf guns. Mixon isn't considered a suspect in the criminal investigation and charges have been filed.

There was plenty of speculation about Mixon's future in Cincinnati this offseason. He renegotiated his contract in July, ensuring that he would remain with the team this season. He took a $4.39 million pay cut to stay in Cincinnati. He’s under contract for the next two seasons.
