Miami Dolphins Star Cornerback Xavien Howard Officially Requests Trade

The 28-year-old wants out.

Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard showed up for the start of training camp, but that doesn't mean he's happy in Miami.

The 28-year-old confirmed that he has asked to be traded. Howard posted the news on his Instagram account on Tuesday night.

He believes he's outplayed his current contract.

"Everyone knows I've significantly outperformed that deal," he wrote. "I want to make it clear I'm not happy and have requested a trade."

Howard confirmed he only showed up to camp so he wouldn't get fined. Check out his full post below.
