Report: Brian Callahan Conducts Head Coaching Interview With Chargers

Cincinnati could lose its offensive coordinator to a promotion this month.

CINCINNATI — The Chargers conducted their head coaching interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan on Tuesday. Ian Rapoport reported the news as Callahan looks like the lone Cincinnati head coaching candidate getting HC looks this cycle.

He is also interviewing with the Chargers on Thursday and will have gone through interviews for four of the current eight head coach openings in this cycle.

Callahan has been in the NFL for over a decade and was a key part of the offensive brain trust that got Jake Browning playing nice football down the back half of this past Bengals season.
