Report: Brian Callahan to Get Second Interviews With Falcons, Panthers and Titans

The Bengals offensive coordinator could become head coach in the coming days.

CINCINNATI — Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan could become a head coach in the near future. The Titans, Panthers and Falcons all plan to have a second interview with him this week according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. 

The interviews will be in person. It feels like Callahan is set to become a head coach in the coming days.  

That means the Bengals could turn to quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher, who has also received interest from multiple teams looking for a new offensive coordinator.

Cincinnati is hoping Pitcher stays put until Callahan takes a job. Promoting Pitcher to offensive coordinator is much easier than losing both coaches. 

Callahan will interview for the Titans job on Monday according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
