Three Under-the-Radar Trade Possibilities For Cincinnati Bengals

The trade deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. ET.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — The NFL trade deadline is one week away. Will this be the year that the Bengals add a piece at the deadline?

Here are three under-the-radar trade candidates for the Bengals if they do decide to make a roster move between now and Oct. 31:

AJ Dillon, RB, Green Bay

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Dillon would give the Bengals a power back to use in goal line and short-yardage situations alongside Joe Mixon.

They have smaller backs behind Mixon right now. Dillon would bring much-needed size and strength to the Bengals' backfield.

The Packers have Aaron Jones under contract and Dillon is in the final year of his rookie deal. A late round pick could be enough to pry him out of Green Bay.

Dillon is only averaging 3.2 yards-per-carry this season, but he's averaging 4.2 for his career and is a good receiving back, especially for his size.

The Bengals could use on the interior of their defensive line. Autry would give their pass rush a boost, while also solidifying an interior that is almost overly reliant on DJ Reader and B.J. Hill.

Like Dillon, Autry is in the final year of his contract. He has 20 tackles and four sacks this season. The Titans already traded Kevin Byard. If they're willing to move Autry, the Bengals should be interested.

Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Atlanta

Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

Patterson makes a lot of sense for the Bengals. Sending a late round pick to the Falcons for a veteran that can help on special teams, while also boosting their rushing attack is the exact type of deal Cincinnati should pursue.

The 32-year-old is still a dynamic kick returner and he'd give Cincinnati another legitimate threat out of the backfield alongside Mixon. He probably wouldn't cost much in a trade, has good hands since he's a former wide receiver and could line up all over the field.

Other Under-the-Radar Targets

Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington

Teair Tart, DT, Tennessee

Dalvin Cook, RB, New York

Mo Alie-Cox, TE, Indianapolis
