Bengals RB Trayveon Williams Carted Off Field Due to Right Ankle Injury
CINCINNATI — Bengals running back Trayveon Williams was carted off the field on Tuesday with a right ankle injury.
Williams went down while doing a ball security drill with the rest of the running backs.
He spent a few minutes on the turf, before trainers brought out the cart and took him to the locker room.
Despite how serious it looked, Williams may have avoided disaster. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that he suffered a mild sprained ankle and will only miss a few weeks.
