Bills Draft Picks Receive Jersey Numbers

The 2023 draft class of the Buffalo Bills now know which jersey numbers they'll be sporting for their rookie seasons.

In the baby steps of their NFL journey, the six 2023 draft picks for the Buffalo Bills have now all received their jersey numbers. The team released the sample images of the new threads after each draft day. Here's what number each draftee will wear:

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah (R:1, No. 25) - No. 86

O'Cyrus Torrence, OG, Florida (R:2, No. 59) - No. 64

Dorian Williams, LB, Tulane (R:3, No. 91) - No. 42

Justin Shorter, WR, Florida (R:5. No. 150) - No. 18

Nick Broeker, OG, Ole Miss (R:7, No. 230) - No. 67

Alex Austin, CB, Oregon State (R:7. No. 252) - No. 29

The Bills did their fair share of maneuvering up and down the draft board in order to complete their 2023 class. Despite general manager Brandon Beane saying he would "put money down" on being more likely to trade down than up, he still moved up two spots to the No. 25 overall pick to select Kincaid in fear that the Dallas Cowboys would snag the talented tight end before the Bills were on the clock.

But the trading down did end up happening. The Bills made deals with the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Commanders, adding future picks by moving back. The Bills sent their original fifth-round pick at No. 137 to the Commanders in exchange for picks Nos. 150 and 215.

Pick No. 150 was used to select Shorter in the fifth round, but Buffalo ended up traded No. 215 to the Rams and got No. 252 and a 2024 sixth-round pick in return. The Bills used No. 252 to select Austin in the seventh round.

The Bills ended up making selections at just two of their original draft slots (No. 59 and No. 91).
