Bills vs. Raiders: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Buffalo Bills welcome the Las Vegas Raiders to Highmark Stadium on Sunday with hopes of righting the ship after laying a Week 1 egg against the New York Jets. Quarterback Josn Allen turned the ball over four times by virtue of a fumble and three picks. “It’s Week 1. The world is not ending,” Bills tight end Dawson Knox said. “We’ve got a bright future ahead of us.”
That future will be brighter if Allen can hold on to the ball, and he knows he needs to improve. “I can sit here and talk about it all I want, but it’s got to be about doing it,” Allen said.
The Raiders came across the country earlier than normal in an attempt to acclimate to the time zone change. “It’s a long season. We know we’ve got to go through a lot of battles and handle adversities,” McDaniels said. “And it’s always better to handle those things when you really appreciate and have an affection for the people that you’re doing it with.”
Las Vegas is fresh off a 17-16 win over division rival Denver, but the performance was anything but clean. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw an interception while the Raiders managed just 61 total yards on the ground with a whopping 2.1 yards per attempt.
