Tom Brady Retires 'For Good!' Buffalo Bills QB Torture Finally Ends

Tom Brady - now retiring - recorded an incredible mark dominance of the Bills during his time with the Patriots.

"Torture'' is the right word for it.

Fans of today's Buffalo Bills - young fans - obviously feel the pain in this era's Josh Allen-led edition of the club failing to get up and over the Super Bowl hump ... so far.

But at the same time, at least this era of the Bills puts the franchise on top of the AFC East, which is an important start - and which is where the now-retiring (again!) Tom Brady used to be perched.

“Good morning, guys,'' Brady said in an early morning Wednesday video. "I’ll get to the point right away: I’m retiring for good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first. So I won’t be long-winded. I think you only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year. So, really, thank you guys, so much, to every single one of you, for supporting me.

"My family, my friends, teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever, there’s too many. Thank you, guys, for letting me live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”

All things considered, it's little wonder that Josh Allen recently questioned whether Brady would ever actually leave.

"When it happened last year and he retired, I told people 'I'll believe it when he's not playing the first game,'" he said on ESPN's Kyle Brandt's Basement.

The Bills are no doubt happy for Brady, and they no doubt wish him well as at age 45 he is moving from the NFL field up into the FOX Sports broadcast booth.

At the same time, though, in addition to "wishing him well'' ... The Bills probably wish he would've retired a couple of decades ago.

And here is why: His - and his Patriots' dominance of the Bills during his time with New England and coach Bill Belichick is nothing short of stunning.

In Brady’s 20 years in New England, he made 35 starts against the AFC East rival Bills ... and he won a dazzling 32 of those games.

That's right. The Bills were 3-32 lifetime against Brady.

Now, of course, he did that to most of Patriots' enemies over the years. But for comparison, he went 30-8 against the New York Jets and he went 24-12 against the Miami Dolphins.

Yes, even the Jets and the Dolphins fared better vs. Brady than did the Bills, who were also swept by him in 15 of his 18 seasons ... meaning after being happy to see him leave for the Bucs a couple of years ago, the Bills can now celebrate him leaving again.
