How to Watch Buccaneers vs. Jets: Kickoff Time, TV Channel, and Odds
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers headed to the Northeast this week to participate in joint practices with the New York Jets prior to the two meeting in a week two preseason matchup.
The Buccaneers started their preseason against the Pittsburgh Steelers which saw them drop the matchup 27-17. The New York Jets have already played two out of three preseason games thus far, losing their opening game to the Cleveland Browns 21-16 before shutting out the Carolina Panthers 27-0 the following week.
For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers there will be a couple of storylines to pay attention to as this week QB Kyle Trask will get the first snaps with the "first team", while last week's starter, Baker Mayfield, will come on for relief.

Another storyline to watch for the Buccaneers this week will be who will step up and throw their name in the hat for the team's WR3 spot after the season-ending knee injury that Russell Gage suffered in joint practices this week?
Will it be one of the young guys in Trey Palmer or Deven Thompkins, or can the vet David Moore cement his name as the guy who should hold down the mantle?
As for the New York Jets, it is probably safe to assume that future hall-of-fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers won't be playing in this one, so the Jets will most likely roll out third-year quarterback Zack Wilson.

The big news out of New York is the recent signing of former Minnesota Viking, running back Dalvin Cook. Cook has yet to practice with the Jets, so we can also assume that he will be held out of the contest. Cook's counterpart, Breece Hall, is slowly returning from an ACL injury and the team will look to be cautious in speeding him up prior to the regular season.
There was plenty of bad blood throughout the joint practices this week as the teams had to be seperated 6+ times in one practice for fighting. Things should simmer down once they take the actual field on Saturday, but keep an eye on tempers flaring as guys continue to fight for roster spots.
The matchup between the Jets and the Bucs will be the first in the preseason since 2006.
