Cardinals Camp Notes: New Starter Enters Offensive Line
GLENDALE -- After their first day of pads, the Arizona Cardinals slowed the tempo down for Wednesday's practice.
Though the music was still blaring at State Farm Stadium, the Cardinals took things rather easy with the Red-White scrimmage approaching on Saturday. Arizona has Friday and Sunday off with only Thursday's practice.

Injuries
- Trey McBride spent the first part of practice with the team during installs. He's been out for most of camp and hasn't participated in 7 v 7 or team activities for some time.
- Marquise Brown, who normally did stretching and individual drills, was out there for 7 v 7 and team install during the later parts of practice.
- Kelvin Beachum was in sweatpants during today's practice and was not a participant.
*Injuries haven't been disclosed and are not required to be by NFL rules, but Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon insists each player has "a plan".
Notable Notes
We've heard plenty about the Cardinals mixing in players at positions needing answers. We haven't really seen much of that before this week, but:
- Kei'Trel Clark did see some reps opposite of Marco Wilson on the first team defense, though Christian Matthew took the spot back at the end of practice. Dennis Gardeck got some early first-team looks on the edge, too.
- Dennis Daley got some first-team reps at LG at the beginning of practice and during some team drills while Elijah Wilkinson was back with the one's during the end.
- It was another non-throwing day for Colt McCoy, who still has a firm grasp on QB1 duties while Kyler Murray is out.
- For whatever reason, QB Jeff Driskel is playing some tight end during installs. Are we seeing the next Taysom Hill?
