Cardinals Combine Schedule: When Jonathan Gannon, Monti Ossenfort Speak
The Arizona Cardinals - like many other teams - are in Indianapolis for the 2023 NFL Combine.
Arizona possesses the No. 3 pick and hopes to get a great look at some potential prospects while they're up here. Notable names such as Will Anderson Jr. and Jalen Carter are at the top of the list, yet six other rounds exist for the Cardinals to make potential picks, so due diligence is required from top to bottom.
Prior to players speaking on Wednesday, head coaches and general managers will meet with reporters today.
Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort will first speak at 12:30 pm local time (10:30 am Arizona time) before head coach Jonathan Gannon speaks at 2:15 pm local time (12:15 pm Arizona time).
During his introductory press conference, Ossenfort spoke on what having the No. 3 pick was like:
"I hope we don't pick third overall again, that's for one," Ossenfort said.
"The benefit is that we're going to be ready to pick a premium player that's going to be able to come in here and have an impact on our team. That's the benefit. The other benefit is there could be calls on that pick and we're going to operate at every step along the way. We're going to do what's best for the team so if we get a chance to drop back and pick up additional picks that will help build the team, we're going to entertain that. We're in a great position and I would say the same for every pick of that round. There's going to be action. The phone rings in the draft. The phone will ring. We'll be ready to take a good player and we'll be ready to listen to offers too, so we're in a great position with that pick.”
