Cardinals Players React to New Uniforms

The Arizona Cardinals unleashed new uniforms last night, and the very players who will be wearing them gave glowing reviews.

The Arizona Cardinals hope to enter a new era of football, and they'll do so quite fashionably.

The Cardinals unveiled their new uniforms for 2023 and beyond last night at a special event down as The Van Buren, a special event where members of the organization, media and select season ticket holders were in attendance.

Festivities began first by listening to new head coach Jonathan Gannon speak before watching Cardinals players style the three new sets of uniforms donning all white, red and black looks.

Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray was in attendance, donning the home look and gave some nice remarks on the looks:

"I think they are crazy. Hopefully the fans like them. Real original, real basic, hard to mess them up. If you can't look good in these, you can't look good, that's all I'm saying," said Murray.

"It's the confidence it gives. Look good, feel good, play good. I know people outside may not believe but I think it's a real thing. If you feel good, you go out and perform."

Receiver Marquise Brown says the new threads give an opportunity for the organization to have a fresh start.

"It means a lot, not only how you represent a team, but how you represent yourself. It's always a breath of fresh air when you get a new uniform," said Brown.

Though he's a big man, Cardinals OL D.J. Humphries still requires some swagger to handle duty up front.

Because I play O-line, I'm all about maximizing swag as much as I can. I had the old uniform swag down pat, so I pretty much am re-starting my swag journey all over again. But I am glad we got the new jerseys, because they are sweet," he said.
