DeAndre Hopkins Refutes Report on Contract Demands

The Arizona Cardinals are looking to trade DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins himself took to Twitter to refute a report circulating that suggested he wanted a raise.
In this story:

Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins has been on the market for a few months now, and as we approach the final days leading to the 2023 NFL Draft, his name is still hot in trade rumors/speculation.

The Cardinals reportedly want a second-round pick and something else of value for their top receiver, though teams have clearly been reluctant on paying that price.

Hopkins is set to turn 31-years-old and has just two years left on his deal. Between his six-game suspension and battles with injury, he hasn't exactly made himself available as of late either.

Some of the caution surrounding Hopkins would be the financial hit a team would take. Hopkins is due $19.45 million and $14.91 million in salary for the final two years of his deal.

There's been some speculation that Hopkins is in search of more money, though the man himself refuted that on his Twitter account:

Hopkins initially had a no-trade clause in his deal, but that was voided with his six-game suspension last season.
