Cardinals Draft Prospect Jalen Carter Reportedly Issued Arrest Warrant

Arizona Cardinals potential first-round pick reportedly has a warrant out for his arrest.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Arizona Cardinals have a few different options at the No. 3 pick, though Georgia DL Jalen Carter and Alabama EDGE Will Anderson are two of the more popular names tied to the organization.

Carter is a game wrecker and projects to de extremely well at the next level - some believe he has the capability to anchor a defensive interior for years to come.

Right before Carter was scheduled to speak with reporters at the 2023 NFL Combine, a report emerged from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that featured Carter.

“At first, Jalen Carter told police he was nearly a mile away when a UGA teammate and a football staff member died in a car crash. Now, his presence at the scene on Jan. 15 and his shifting accounts alter the police narrative that it was a single-car crash,” said the AJC in a tweet.

The article can be found here, though there is a paywall.

Ian Rapoport says Carter wasn't spotted with the DL group this morning.

Senior writer for The Athletic Seth Emerson says Carter is the subject of an arrest warrant. Both charges against Carter are misdemeanors according to Emerson.
