Cardinals Excited, Welcome New Teammate Paris Johnson Jr.

The Arizona Cardinals moved down - and eventually back up - to Pick 6 to take Paris Johnson Jr. His new teammates were pretty hyped to see the move.
In this story:

TEMPE -- The Arizona Cardinals are in the beginning stages of their rebuild, and a youth movement in the trenches has now begun.

The Cardinals eventually moved down from their No. 3 pick, doing business with the Houston Texans and eventually moving back up with the Detroit Lions to No. 6, where Ohio State OL Paris Johnson Jr. was selected.

Johnson was heavily tied to the Cardinals throughout the process, as even quarterback Kyler Murray vouched for the organization to take him. At the team's official unveiling of their new uniforms, Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon told the crowd that the Cardinals were going to get their guy.

Murray - unsurprisingly - was elated.

More Cardinals players welcomed their newest first-round pick to the squad:

Johnson arrives to the desert in an interesting situation, as the Cardinals already have two starting tackles in D.J. Humphries and Kelvin Beachum. Johnson did play three positions during his time at Ohio State, which includes guard.

Arizona currently has openings at left guard and center, so Johnson does have the potential to start as a rookie.
