DeAndre Hopkins Lists Top Potential QB's Amid Cardinals Trade Rumors

Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins still finds himself in trade rumors. On the "I AM ATHLETE" podcast, Hopkins listed his ideal quarterbacks on a new team.
In this story:

Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins has been heavily tied into trade rumors since the first moments of the offseason. The Cardinals have undergone massive changes in the front office and coaching staff, putting many under the impression that they're entering a rebuilding phase.

The presence of Hopkins - in both age and cap concerns - doesn't make sense if the Cardinals are truly re-tooling their roster. Hopkins himself likely wants to join a football team that realistically can compete for a Super Bowl as the time in his career ticks down.

Thus, rumors and speculation has swirled around Hopkins and potential landing spots.

On the "I AM ATHLETE" podcast, Hopkins was asked which quarterbacks he would like to catch a pass from most.

"That's a good question. I would have to say one of my favorite quarterbacks I've been watching since he came in the league is Josh Allen," said Hopkins.

"Josh Allen, he reminds me of a new school Andrew Luck. I love Josh Allen. Jalen Hurts - Houston kid, he's a dog … Patrick Mahomes obviously. No. 4 I'm gonna have to go with an underdog... Not a lot of people respect this guy as a throwing quarterback but Lamar Jackson, obviously ... My No. 5 quarterback, I'm gonna have to go with my dude in San Diego [Los Angeles] with the Chargers, I'm gonna have to go with [Justin] Herbert."
