Bolts to Meet With USC WR Jordan Addison
It's finally draft month, Charger fans! Where young players' dreams come true and where NFL teams could find the player to turn their franchise around. Your Los Angeles Chargers could snag someone just like that, and their options are there with seven draft picks in 2023.
A lot can happen from now to the draft, and those seven draft picks could either increase or decrease. However, at the moment, they have seven, and they could use that pick on a LA college player.
USC standout wide receiver Jordan Addison will be one of the top picks in this year's draft, and the Chargers could use their first pick on him. Houston NFL insider Aaron Wilson said Addison will meet with five NFL teams, including the Chargers.
“Addison has upcoming visits with the Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants and New England Patriots, according to league sources. He has a local visit with the Los Angeles Chargers, per a source.”
The Bolts and Addison have been linked with each other, and he himself said he would love to play with Justin Herbert. The Chargers need another wide receiver weapon, as Keenan Allen and Mike Williams aren't getting any younger and have missed time due to injuries.
The 21-year-old has had a tremendous collegiate career with Pittsburgh and USC. In three seasons, he had 219 receptions, 3134 yards with an average of 14.3 yards, and 29 touchdowns, eight of those coming in his final college season at USC.
The 2021 Biletnikoff award winner was USC's best offensive weapon and would be a great fit with the Bolts. We'll see what happens at the end of the month, but I'm rooting for Addison to stay in LA.
