Chargers News: Brandon Staley Hypes Up In-Coming Rookies Prior to Training Camp

We are ready!
In this story:

Training camp is always one of the best times in the NFL season. At this point, fans are ready to see any sort of footage from their players and they are offered some first looks at offseason additions, guys coming back from injury and any improvements made by the squad as a whole. Fans of the Los Angeles Chargers were already super hyped to see their Bolts take the field in OTA's... imagine training camp.

And for the Chargers, this period will be more important for them than ever. Brandon Staley, Kellen Moore and the rest of the coaching staff will look to take full advantage of every minuet they have together and decide who can be trusted with what responsibilities and start really planning for the new season. There are people who we already know what to expect from in Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen and the rest of the usuals but there are others that we will be keeping a close eye on.

Of course, every rookie that either got selected in the NFL Draft or signed following the draft will be on that list. You have the TCU draftees who made a run to the national championship in 2022 to start things off. Quentin Johnston had everybody swiveling their head in minicamp as he immediately figured out Justin Herbert's play style and made some huge catches.

But Staley has revealed that LA is looking forward to the development of all of their rookies in training camp, not just their first-rounder.

"I think the guys that we drafted, and there are going to be some undrafted guys that I know that are going to make an impression on you guys in the training camp, I'm confident in that," said Staley. "The rookies, I think, really showed a lot of professionalism. They showed the ability that they're going to be a factor come training camp."

We cannot wait to see them get rolling!
