Few NFL teams have a better future at their quarterback position than your Los Angeles Chargers. Justin Herbert is quickly rising every year and will be soon be staking his claim as one of the top offensive leaders in the league, once the postseason success comes of course.

For that very reason, most mock drafts have LA prioritizing every position but QB with their top picks and for the right reason. Why use an important pick on a player that won't get immediate playing time? However, it's important to remember some comments made by Tom Telesco and Brandon Staley signaling that the front office may look to trade down for more selections.

It is looking more likely that LA could look to bring in another young arm like they did with Herbert and draft Max Duggan from TCU. The Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year revealed that the Chargers have reached out to him during the scouting process.

In his final season at TCU, the 22-year-old suited up for 15 matches and completely showed out. He recorded 3,698 total yards, 267 completions, and 32 touchdowns en route to a 13-2 record.

This interview was captured at TCU's pro day, where Duggan continued to showcase his skills for the professional level.

"Duggan reportedly completed 36/44 passes during his workout. The TCU QB is reportedly receiving serious interest from the Cowboys, Jets, and Chargers."

He could serve as a good backup option at some point in his career and it will be interesting to see if our Bolts take a shot on him.
