Commanders’ Josh Harris with DiCaprio, Jay-Z, Kardashians at 'All-White' Billionaire Party

The Washington Commanders are under new ownership, and Josh Harris knows how to party with the best of them — literally.
In this story:

The Washington Commanders are in the process of being sold from the controversial Daniel Snyder to the Apollo Global Management founder Josh Harris, a mogul who owns stake in multiple pro sports teams.

So, how do you celebrate buying a new franchise? You join Michael Rubin's annual July 4 "All-White" party that is rumored to cost $1 million for access. And that's exactly what Harris did.

This party included “everybody who is anybody,” some might say. Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, James Harden, Robert Kraft, Odell Beckham Jr., Donovan Mitchell and more showed up from the sports world.

Beyonce, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Bieber and other stars from the entertainment sphere were also in the fold.

But. ... Why was Josh Harris there? Sure he's a billionaire, but his name isn't commonly thrown out with the aforementioned.

It's all due to the Philadelphia 76ers. Rubin is the CEO of Fanatics and the former owner of the NBA franchise, and Harris is currently an owner of the team. Therein lies the relationship.

So Harris joined the star-studded, white-clad group at the $50 million home of Rubin, who's worth $11.4 billion at 50 years old, according to Forbes

This might not mean much for Commanders fans, but it's impressive to see how well-connected Harris is in the sports world. More importantly, it's fresh to know that Washington now has an owner who is well-liked in the realm.

That all by itself shows that Washington has made an upgrade.
