Which Commanders UDFA Additions Can Make 53-Man Roster?

The Washington Commanders are hoping to gain some contributions from their undrafted free agent wide receivers.
In this story:

The Washington Commanders spent most of their draft picks this year on the offensive line and secondary, failing to address the lack of depth at the wide receiver position.

However, the team signed multiple wide receivers through undrafted free agency. Out of the undrafted free agents, Penn State's Mitchell Tinsley is the biggest addition of the bunch, per FantasyPros.

"Tinsley transferred to PSU from WKU last offseason - he was never teammates with Jahan Dotson on campus, rather, Tinsley was brought to PSU to replace him," FantasyPros writes.

"Obviously no such thing will be happening here. But Tinsley has a very good shot to crack this roster. After starters Dotson, Terry McLaurin, and Curtis Samuel, the Commanders have very little at the WR position."

There should be a wide open competition at the wide receiver position beyond Dotson, McLaurin and Samuel ... the expected starters.

Dyami Brown and Dax Milne, both of whom were on the roster a year ago, are the favorites to make it as backups. But Tinsley and UCLA's Kazemir Allen could be in line to challenge them for a spot on the roster.

"WR Kazmeir Allen will also have a shot to crack the 53," FantasyPros writes. "A former running back, Allen transitioned to receiver midway through his career at UCLA. He underwhelmed in athletic testing, but he has a versatile skillset to experiment with if he can overcome that."

Being a newer receiver, Allen has a lot of untapped potential ... but if the Commanders can crack it, Allen can crack the 53-man roster out of training camp.
