Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Reveals New Confidence Level: 'Best I've Ever Felt!'

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott says his confidence level is at an all-time high heading into a Thanksgiving showdown with the Washington Commanders.

As the holiday season arrives, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has quite a lot to be thankful for right now.

Currently, Prescott is in the midst of one of the best stretches of his career. He's been tearing up opposing defenses over the past month or so, with 13 passing touchdowns to just two interceptions in his last four games. Often the subject of criticism, Prescott has quieted his haters with his recent performances.

Prescott will look to keep his hot streak going when his Cowboys host the division-rival Washington Commanders in their traditional Thanksgiving game. Ahead of this matchup and riding a wave of strong play, Prescott's confidence level seems to be at an all-time high.

"The way that I feel, the confidence I have in this group, myself, [being in] the zone, I guess you could call it," Prescott said on Tuesday. "Whatever it is — the coaches, the chemistry of this team, yeah, by far the best I've ever felt. It's not just me, it's a lot of the things around me."

Dak is on a stat roll that has him in the NFL MVP conversation, and on a personal level, he's in a new romantic relationship with Sarah Jane Ramos ... which all certainly adds to the good feelings.

It helps that the skill players around Prescott are playing well too. CeeDee Lamb is making his case as one of the game's best receivers, Brandin Cooks has found his stride as the new No. 2 option and Jake Ferguson is in the midst of a breakout season in Year 2. Even running back Tony Pollard, who hasn't had a great season so far, is coming off one of his better performances of the year in Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers.

The Cowboys are currently 11-point favorites over the Commanders for Thursday's game, and with Prescott playing the way he has recently, it's easy to see why the spread is so heavily in their favor.
