Cowboys' Micah Parsons to School at Von Miller 'Pass-Rush Summit'

Some of the NFL's top pass-rushers - including the Cowboys' Micah Parsons - meet in Las Vegas for a Von Miller tutorial.

FRISCO - Micah Parsons is planning to "play eight different positions'' this year for the Dallas Cowboys while de-emphasizing his personal sack totals. 

"I'm kind of off the 'sack wave.' I'm onto the 'impact wave," Parsons recently declared "I really just want to be dominant.''

Dominance is grand. But there are still quarterbacks who must be harassed and a learning curve that must be scaled.

So Parsons reportedly made sure he was among the "students'' who hung out with Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller at his seventh-annual "Von Miller Pass Rush Summit'' in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Miller is a guru at the position, and Parsons is already on record as counting the Texas native as an influence and an inspiration. So when it is tome to collect ideas from one of the most respected veterans in the NFL? It makes sense that Micah would grab a seat in the classroom.

Per the Buffalo News, here are some of the biggest names in attendance, which included many of Miller's Bills teammates but which is could also be argued is a group led by the Cowboys' two-time (in two NFL seasons) All-Pro: Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys; Cameron Jordan, New Orleans Saints; Maxx Crosby, Las Vegas Raiders; Jeffrey Simmons, Tennessee Titans; Bobby Wagner, Seattle Seahawks; Greg Rousseau, Buffalo Bills; DaQuan Jones, Buffalo Bills; Nolan Smith, Philadelphia Eagles; Malik Reed, Miami Dolphins; Josh Uche, New England Patriots

Miller's level - a two-time champion and one-time Super Bowl MVP - is the goal. In his case, he's rehabbing in an attempt to return to the field for the Bills, who figure to be again among the AFC's best. And Micah? He's gearing up to try to lift Dallas to the same level in the NFC.
