Deebo Samuel Responds to Dallas Cowboys Micah Parsons' 'Laugh Now, Cry Later' 49ers Comments

The Dallas Cowboys and linebacker Micah Parsons could have worse losses coming their way, according to San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel.

The historic rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers has been one-sided over the past few years, but this might now be a bit of an understatement considering now dominant the Niners looked in Sunday night's 42-10 win over Dallas at Levi's Stadium.

Regardless of the blowout loss, Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons is refusing to let his confidence waver. In response to a shirt worn by Niners tight end George Kittle that publicly announced his own dislike for the Cowboys, Parsons said that Dallas has "got something for that" in a potential rematch.

"We got something for that, just trust," Parsons said on his podcast. "If we see them again, just trust. ... You gonna make it personal? We can make it personal."

But Niners receiver Deebo Samuel, who has been at the center of trash talk between the two teams before, had a realistic response that wasn't built on the back of "ifs" and hypotheticals.

"It was already personal before the game started," Samuel said on Up & Adams. "42-10? I don't think you want to see us again, it might be a little bit worse. I don't know what we trusting."

Worse than 42-10? It's hard to imagine it getting anymore painful than that for a Cowboys team that had already suffered two back-to-back one-score playoff losses to the Niners in the last two seasons. But it's hard to put anything past the 5-0 49ers, who look well on their way to another NFC title game berth.

As for Parsons, his words mean little until the Cowboys prove that they are indeed a postseason contender and that Sunday's blowout was a one-off. It'll certainly take more than one game to that, but Dallas has its first chance at recovering when the team travels to SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.
