Philadelphia Eagles' Dallas Goedert - Who 'Hates The Cowboys!' Plans Return From Injury on 'Sunday Night Football'
FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night in a battle that could help decide the winner of the NFC East.
The already problematic task of beating the 10-2 Eagles and extending their home winning streak to 15 for the Cowboys may have just gotten tougher. Philadelphia tight end Dallas Goedert - who despite his ironic first name has often expressed how much he "hates the Cowboys!'' - could return from injury ahead of the Week 14 matchup at AT&T Stadium.
Goedert appeared on local radio in Philly and talked about his broken right forearm suffered in Week 9 during the first game against the Cowboys. He's missed the team's last three games.
"It's exciting for me knowing that my return to play is coming sooner rather than later," Goedert told the 94WIP Midday Show on Tuesday. "It's probably feeling like 85 to 90 percent back to normal. I'm able to do everything I need to do in my position group, so I am planning on going down to Dallas and playing every snap they allow me to."

Dallas visited Lincoln Financial Field on Nov. 5 and lost in the final minutes of a 28-23 tilt. That extended the Eagles' lead in the NFC East - a lead that has been reduced to just one game by virtue of Philadelphia's 42-19 loss to the 49ers last week.
The Eagles also hold a one-game lead over San Francisco, Dallas, and Detroit for the best record in the NFC.

Goedert, 28, had a slow start to the season. He registered zero catches on one target in Week 1 and had no more than 41 yards receiving in each of his first four games. He put things together in Week 5 against the Rams, cashing in on season highs in targets with nine, catches with eight, and yards with 117. He added his first touchdown of the season in the same game against Los Angeles.
Despite missing three games with a broken arm, Goedert is still No. 3 on the team in targets (52), receptions (38) and receiving yards (410).
