What Must Falcons Do Before Offseason Ends?

The Atlanta Falcons still have work to do after their busy offseason.
In this story:

The Atlanta Falcons have had quite the transformation this offseason.

On defense, the team signed veterans on all three levels and hired Ryan Nielsen to be the team's new coordinator. Offensively, running back Bijan Robinson is expected to give Atlanta another dimension and hurdle for opposing defenses to conquer.

However, the Falcons still have work to do this offseason in the wide receiver market. Bleacher Report believes the one thing Atlanta needs to do before the end of the offseason is to add some depth at the receiver position.

"This offseason, Atlanta signed Mack Hollins and Scotty Miller to complement Drake London (and Kyle Pitts). But the Falcons should not be finished adding receivers, either," Bleacher Report writes. "KhaDarel Hodge and Penny Hart are the main reserves right now, and they have 54 combined receptions in eight NFL seasons. Not exactly a deep position."

In addition to Hollins and Miller, the team signed former second-round pick J.J. Arcega-Whiteside ... but Bleacher Report's point still stands.

Wide receiver depth needs to be added. Veterans like Sammy Watkins, Jarvis Landry and Kenny Golladay could all look at Atlanta as an opportunity to revive their careers ... or the team could bring back a familiar face. Former Falcons Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu are also free agents, and may not have an opportunity knocking other than Atlanta, if Terry Fontenot were to give one of them a call.

That being said, the market could open up in a few weeks with post-June cuts, all leading up to training camp in July.
