Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall Highest-Ranked Jets on SI Post-Draft Fantasy Football List

Gang Green's two second-year offensive weapons have earned top-10 status at their respective positions

Sports Illustrated fantasy football guru Michael Fabiano has updated his position-by-position rankings following the 2023 NFL Draft and he sees no sophomore slump in store for a pair of second-year New York Jets.

Garrett Wilson, the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, landed at No. 10 overall amongst fantasy football wide receivers. Meanwhile, Jets' running back Breece Hall, who showed tremendous promise prior to a season-ending ACL injury, also stands 10th amongst his position group.

In PPR fantasy formats, Wilson amassed 217.3 points as a rookie (83 receptions, 1,103 receiving yards, 4 TD). If he can hit double digits in touchdowns with Aaron Rodgers at QB, Wilson will see his fantasy value rise even higher.

Hall, who has added value as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, grossed 117.1 points in only 6.5 games (463 rush yards, 19 receptions, 218 receiving yards, 5 total TD).

Fabiano's rankings suggest middle-of-the-road production from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who sits as QB14. The 39-year old offers little value as a rusher at this point in his career, but has 30+ touchdown pass potential.

Other notable Jets' rankings are WR51 Allen Lazard and WR71 Mecole Hardman. Tyler Conklin ranks 30th amongst tight end options.

Backup running back Michael Carter sits at No. 56 while 2023 fifth-round draft pick Israel Abanikanda was valued at No. 71 amongst NFL fantasy ball carriers. The Brooklyn-born Abanikanda was slotted 29th overall (all positions) in Fabiano's top rookie rankings.

Fabiano tabbed Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein at No. 20 overall in the placekicker category while ranking the Jets' Defense 13th out of 32 units.

In terms of official NFL rankings, Gang Green featured the league's fourth-best defense last season. The Jets limited opponents to 311.1 yards and 18.6 points per game.

Fabiano, the Senior Fantasy Analyst for Sports Illustrated, prefaced his latest rankings by writing, "The 2023 NFL draft has come and gone, so we now have a clear idea of what a lot of the team rosters and depth charts will look like when training camps open. It also means we can now better project fantasy draft values and player rankings. With that said, here’s my updated look at every position as we inch closer to the summer."
