This former Jets scout walks through each draft pick over the last three years, grading Joe Douglas' tenure as GM to this point.

Joe Douglas was hired June 7, 2019, and has been at the helm in New York for three drafts.

How has he fared with his selections?

2020 NFL Draft

1st Round: Mekhi Becton (offensive tackle)

Current status: Jets

He's missed but one game the past two seasons with documented weight issues and injury.

2nd Round: Denzel Mims (wide receiver)

Current status: Jets

Mims has 42 career catches on 92 targets for 676 yards and 0 touchdowns.

3rd Round: Ashtyn Davis (safety)

Current status: Jets

Davis has 103 tackles, 0.5 sacks, 3 interceptions and 5 passes defended.

3rd Round: Jabari Zuniga (defensive end)

Current Status: Saints

Zuniga's totals: 10 tackles and 1 career sack.

4th Round: La'Mical Perine (running back)

Current Status: Chiefs

Perine has 72 career carries for 263 yards and 2 touchdowns.

4th Round: James Morgan (quarterback)

Current Status: Out of the league

Morgan was cut from the Jets' practice squad in November of 2021.

4th Round: Cameron Clark (offensive tackle)

Current Status: Retired

Clark retired due to injury during his first training camp.

5th Round: Bryce Hall (cornerback)

Current Status: Jets

He has amassed 115 tackles, 1 interception, and 19 passes defended.

6th Round: Braden Mann (punter)

Current Status: Jets

Mann remains as the team's punter (45.4 avg.).

Bottom line: 5/9 players are currently with the Jets

Grade: D (1.0)

2021 NFL Draft

1st Round: Zach WIlson (quarterback)

Current Status: Jets

Wilson was the No. 2 overall pick. He's posted a career completion percentage of 55.2% to go with 15 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.

1st Round: Alijah Vera-Tucker (offensive lineman)

Current Status: Jets

He's started 23 games, playing both guard and tackle.

2nd Round: Elijah Moore (wide receiver)

Current Status: Jets

A promising rookie season followed by a demand to be traded his second season. Moore has logged 80 catches on 142 targets for 984 yards and 6 touchdowns.

4th Round: Michael Carter (running back)

Current Status: Jets

Carter has picked up 1,041 yards on 261 carries (4.0 avg.), and 7 touchdowns. He has added 77 receptions for 613 yards (8.0 avg.).

5th Round: Jamien Sherwood (linebacker)

Current Status: Jets

He's played in 22 games producing 31 tackles and 0.5 sacks.

5th Round: Michael Carter II (cornerback)

Current Status: Jets

He has produced 135 tackles, 1 sack, 2 interceptions and 14 passes defended.

5th Round: Jason Pinnock (safety)

Current Status: Giants

Pinnock played in 12 games as a rookie making 16 tackles. After being released, he played in 14 games and made 41 tackles, 3 passes defended, 1 forced fumble and 1.5 sacks for the Giants this past season.

6th Round: Hamsah Nasirildeen (linebacker)

Current Status: Jets

He's appeared in 19 games and produced 14 tackles.

6th Round: Brandin Echols (cornerback)

Current Status: Jets

Echols has been in 27 games, while notching 71 tackles, 2 interceptions, 11 passes defended, and 1 touchdown.

6th Round: Jonathan Marshall (defensive line)

Current Status: Steelers

Marshall played in 4 games and made 2 tackles.

Bottom line: 8/10 players are currently with the Jets

Grade: B (3.0)

2022 NFL Draft

1st Round: Sauce Gardner (cornerback)

Current Status: Jets

2022 Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Gardner became the premiere corner in the league as a rookie. He posted 75 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 20 passes defended (league best).

1st Round: Garrett Wilson (wide receiver)

Current Status: Jets

2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year

Wilson led all rookies with 83 catches, while breaking a Jets' rookie franchise record for the most receiving yards (1,103). He added four touchdowns.

1st Round: Jermaine Johnson (edge rusher)

Current Status: Jets

Johnson played in 14 games while dealing with some injury issues. He logged 29 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

2nd Round: Breece Hall (running back)

Current Status: Jets

Hall had an incredible start playing in 7 games and producing 463 yards on the ground (80 carries, 5.8 avg., 4 TD) before suffering a torn ACL (knee). He added 19 receptions for 218 yards (1 TD).

3rd Round: Jeremy Ruckert (tight end)

Current Status: Jets

He played in 9 games and caught 1 pass for 8 yards.

4th Round: Max Mitchell (right tackle)

Current Status: Jets

Mitchell appeared in 6 games and suffered from a serious blood clot issue that cost him the rest of the season.

4th Round: Micheal Clemons (defensive end)

Current Status: Jets

This defender was in 16 games while producing 36 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

Bottom line: 7/7 players are currently with the Jets

Grade: A (4.0)

Three year total: 20/26 picks are still currently with the Jets.

Two of these picks are out of the league.

Three year record: 13-37

Three Year Grade: C (GPA 2.66)
