Aidan Hutchinson's Madden Rating Improves
Detroit Lions EDGE rusher Aidan Hutchinson is poised for a breakout campaign in his second NFL season.
The Michigan product led the team with 9.5 sacks last season. For his efforts, he earned an 81 overall rating in the latest edition of EA Sports' 'Madden' video game.
As part of the lead-up to the release of 'Madden 24', EA Sports is revealing its player ratings position-by-position throughout the week.
Earlier this week, wide receivers and safeties learned their attributes.
Hutchinson did not crack the top-20 of highest rated players at his position. However, he's atop the rankings among his teammates at the defensive end position by a wide margin.
Veteran Romeo Okwara is the closest to him at a 74 overall. Despite breaking out with 8 sacks in seven games as a rookie, James Houston received just a 71 overall rating.
In addition to edge rushers and defensive ends, defensive tackles and outside linebackers also learned where they stack up on the video game.
Alim McNeill is the team's highest-rated defensive tackle at 72 overall, while Alex Anzalone and Malcolm Rodriguez are each at 73 to pace the outside linebackers.
Rookie Brodric Martin received a 67 overall rating ahead of his first NFL season. He has a 87 strength attribute, which is second to McNeill among players who have had their ratings revealed.
