Dan Campbell Addresses Ticket Price Increase
Head coach Dan Campbell is tasked with making sure his young team is prepared to play and develop in a manner that maximizes each players potential.
This season, the Lions have electrified their fanbase, winning several games in primetime and showcasing an offense that has the potential to put up a significant amount of points.
With winning, factors outside of Campbell's control have stirred up strong emotions from a fanbase that has supported the team for a significant period of time.
After winning 10 games this season, the organization has decided to raise season ticket prices an average of 30 percent next season.
While the organization has been relatively mum on the price increase, a certain amount of fans have expressed publicly their disappointment prices have steeply increased.
Detroit's third-year head coach was asked during his media session Wednesday what his message was for fans who were frustrated at the decision to raise prices, in some cases 80 percent, for next season.

"Don't put me in that spot. Look, I'm not in marketing, I don't deal with ticket prices," Campbell said. "I'm just trying to win games so, I don't know, it is what it is. I hate to say that, but I have no -- there's nothing I can do about anything other than try to coach and give us a winner."
Ford Field has regularly been filled this season, with standing-room only tickets made available on a regular basis.
Unfortunately, the demand should be high enough for the organization to justify their decision.
Possibly, the timing could have been better, as the team has still yet to qualify for the playoffs, win the division or win a playoff game.
