Early 2023 Detroit Lions 53-Man Roster Prediction

Following the draft, here is an early projection of who will make the 2023 roster.
In this story:

The Detroit Lions are targeting players that the front office and coaching staff strongly believe fit the culture.

Expectations have been elevated, and the team added players who have the potential of aiding the roster get to the postseason in 2023.

“I said during the combine, ‘What’s the goal of the offseason?’ I just said, ‘Look, we don’t want to take a step back. We don’t want to stay stagnant.’ We appreciate and we are extremely proud of the success that we had last year, but we didn’t make the playoffs. We didn’t make the playoffs, and that’s not good enough," said Lions general manager Brad Holmes. "We’ve got to get to the point as a football team where we can put ourselves in a position where we can get in the postseason, and hopefully make some noise.”
