Moseley, Joseph Inactive against Packers
The Detroit Lions got positive injury news on two key offensive players, as Taylor Decker and David Montgomery will play against the Green Bay Packers.
Prior to Detroit's Week 4 contest at Lambeau Field, the team announced cornerback Emmanuel Moseley and safety Kerby Joseph would be inactive.
Joseph is missing his second consecutive game, after injuring his hip against the Seahawks.
Rookie Brodric Martin is inactive for his fourth straight game to start his career.
Isaiah Buggs and Benito Jones are currently ahead of the young defensive lineman on the depth chart.
Martin is a player the coaching staff wants to develop more before he sees the field during the regular season.
With the offensive additions, Detroit is hoping to turn around its fortunes and put up more points against its divisional rival.
Against the Falcons, Detroit settled for field goals on a couple of occasions, and actually decided to punt the football, instead of being aggressive.
"I think we're close," said Amon-Ra St. Brown. "We can talk all we want, we've got to actually do it," St. Brown said. "So hopefully, we can do it on Thursday night. We moved the ball up and down, we've just got to finish it when we get there. Limit the turnovers, and I think if we do those things, we can put up more points. But, we can't talk about it, we've got to be about it."
Head coach Dan Campbell indicated he could be more aggressive against Green Bay, as the game could end up being higher scoring than many are expecting.
Here is the updated list of the Lions' Week 4 inactives:
