New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins: LIVE Updates From South Beach
The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will resume their long-standing AFC East divisional rivalry on Sunday afternoon as the teams do battle at Hard Rock Stadium in South Beach (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
With trade deadline rumors swirling, New England (2-5) may be making its final stand in its current incarnation. As it stands, whoever leaves is poised to go out on a high note, as the Patriots earned an unexpected 29-25 victory over the Buffalo BIlls last week in Foxborough. Mac Jones found tight end Mike Gesicki for a one-yard, game-winning score in the final minute to seal the deal.
Miami (5-2) continues to lead the AFC East but is reeling after a 31-17 humbling at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in last weekend's nightcap. The Dolphins are looking to pull off a sweep of the annual couple against New England for the second time in the last three seasons and have successfully defended their home turf from the Patriots on three consecutive occasions. New England hasn't dropped four in a row in Miami since the turn of the century (1999-02).
Live updates will commence after kickoff ...
