In a new interview, Tom Brady says he'll always be a member of the New England Patriots.

He won his last Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he's now a co-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

But in a recent interview with ESPN, Tom Brady re-affirms that he'll always be a member of the New England Patriots and he's looking forward to being honored at the team's season opener Sept. 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium.

"Obviously, I want to go back there and see the fans," Brady said. "See my teammates. I went back there one time, it was in an opposing uniform, which was a different type of welcoming. From the moment that I stepped foot in Foxborough, I've cherished that opportunity, and I've always felt like I've been a member of that organization."

The Pats drafted Brady and he led them to six Super Bowls. We know Brady is a forever Patriot. But like the pilot telling you on the P.A. that "we've reached our cruising altitude and everything's on schedule", it's still, it's nice to hear him say it. Right?

"I'm always pulling for the Patriots," he said. "It's been a great organization. I've got so many friends there still. My kids were born in Boston. I have so many incredible memories of my time there."

Fully and permanently retired, Brady has diverse interests these days. But he might be looking forward to his return to Foxboro as much as fans are to his homecoming.

"It was such a kind gesture by (owner Robert Kraft)," Brady said. "We've always had a great relationship. He thought this was something that the fans would really enjoy, and it's a great gesture by the organization."
