Ravens Among Top 10 Super Bowl Betting Favorites

While the season is still months away, betting odds are trending upwards regarding the Baltimore Ravens' Super Bowl chances.
In this story:

Trying to predict who will win the Super Bowl in July is a fool's errand, as games are not played on paper. Despite that, though, betting odds fluctuate throughout the offseason as moves happen and rosters change.

As it currently stands, the Kansas City Chiefs are once again the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, coming in at +600 according to CBS Sports. While the Baltimore Ravens aren't the current betting favorites, their odds have risen this offseason.

"Another club that has seen a noticeable rise since the end of May has been the Baltimore Ravens," CBS Sports writes. "At that juncture of the offseason, they were +2500 to win the Super Bowl and are now slotted just behind the Jets and Cowboys at +2200."

The Ravens currently find themselves inside the top 10 of the best odds to win it all, and fourth best behind the aforementioned Chiefs at +600, the Buffalo Bills at +900, AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals at +1,000 and the New York Jets at +1,500.

Of course, it is not unreasonable to look at what the Ravens have going for them and be excited about their chances to not only make it back to the playoffs but compete for a Super Bowl.

They locked in Lamar Jackson on a record-breaking extension, as well as getting him more help on offense in the form of signing receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency and drafting receiver Zay Flowers

When the dust is settled in February there is a chance that the Ravens will be the final team standing, celebrating and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. The roster is talented enough, and if Jackson can remain healthy it is hard to see their odds not increasing once again the closer we get to the season.
