When Are Ravens Players Being Drafted In Fantasy Football?

Prepare for fantasy football drafts by finding out when Baltimore's top players are being drafted.
In this story:

In 2019, Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson won MVP with a spectacular statistical season. He was a league-winner in fantasy football that year. It was hard not to win if he was on the team. That year he was the 16th quarterback off of the board but finished as far and away the top player in fantasy football.

Where are Ravens players being drafted this year in fantasy football drafts, and could one of them become a league-winner like Jackson in 2019?

Quarterback - It would be wrong to start this list with anyone other than Jackson. He has been a top fantasy quarterback when healthy and has a high floor due to his rushing ability. Last season, he finished as the 14th-best quarterback in fantasy after only playing in 12 games due to injury.

Jackson signed a five-year, $260 million contract extension a few hours before the 2023 NFL Draft. The Ravens rewarded him by drafting wide receiver Zay Flowers with the No. 22 overall pick and signing Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency. With the most talented receiving group that Jackson has ever played with, expectations are through the roof.

Jackson's ESPN ADP: 32.8, QB4

Running Backs - Running back is Baltimore's weakest position group by far. J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Melvin Gordon II and Keaton Mitchell make up the running back room for the Ravens. Not a single running back that is on the roster reached 600 rushing yards last season.

Dobbins performed well when healthy, averaging 5.7 yards per carry for 520 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He missed time due to a knee injury after missing the entire 2021 season due to a torn ACL.

Dobbins' ESPN ADP: 95.4, RB30
Edwards' ESPN ADP: 169, RB53

Wide Receivers - This is the best wide receiver room that Baltimore has had with Jackson at quarterback. Flowers, Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman have the potential to be a three-headed monster this season. However, with no clear first option among the three, all of them have fallen in fantasy drafts.

The risk with each of them is that they could end up being the third most productive wide receiver on the team. The reward is that any of them could end up being the wide receiver No. 1 on a potent offense.

Beckham Jr.'s ESPN ADP: 110.6, WR40
Flowers' ESPN ADP: 124.5, WR46
Bateman's ESPN ADP: 169.6, WR69

Tight End - There's an argument to be made that tight end is the Ravens' strongest position group. Mark Andrews finished as the tight end No. 4 despite missing two games last season and the year prior, he finished as the top tight end in fantasy, even beating out Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Since he was drafted, Andrews has been the top target of Jackson every year except 2020. If he's getting drafted high, it might be a good idea to handicap him with Isaiah Likely, who played well in limited time last season.

Andrews' ESPN ADP: 32.5, TE2
