Baltimore Ravens 'In a Good Place' Ahead of Tennessee Titans Clash
The Baltimore Ravens dropped another winnable game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5, and there could have been some concern that the emotions from that could carry over into next week.
But as the Ravens, who traveled to London earlier to adjust to the time difference and all that it entails, gear up for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, coach John Harbaugh says his team is ready to roll.
"It's been a really good week. We're ready to play," Harbaugh said via the Ravens' official website. "I gauge it by me. If I feel good, they feel good. I feel great, got good rest. Guys are in good spirits. It really picked up yesterday and carried over into today. We're in a good place."
The Ravens will be hoping to get back on the winner's list when they face the 2-3 Titans, and part of that is getting their bearings in a different country.
The last time Baltimore played overseas, the team left later in the week, but this time, the team arrived on Monday, and tight end Mark Andrews thinks that has been beneficial.
"I think for us it's been a good decision to come early," Andrews said. "I know the first couple of days it's tough to kind of get your bearings. I feel that now we're starting to feel pretty good, get acclimated to the time zone. That's not easy. I think guys are getting good sleep and I think we're pretty fortunate to have come early, because it's not an easy thing to deal with."
With Baltimore under pressure to put together a consistent performance after the up-and-down effort against the Steelers, all eyes will be on how Todd Monken's offense plays this week.
After several drops against the Steelers, the Ravens receivers will be even more locked in to make sure that doesn't happen on Sunday.
If they are, then the Ravens have a good chance to escape Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a win.
