Where Do Baltimore Ravens Land in Latest NFL Power Rankings?

The Baltimore Ravens are fresh off a dominating win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and their position in the NFL pecking order shifted as a result.

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the top five teams in the NFL, at least according to power rankings.

Sports Illustrated recently released its updated listing of power rankings following the Week 9 action in the NFL, and the Ravens are among the league's elite after a demolishing of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. Baltimore, with a record of 7-2, comes in at No. 4 on the list.

"I think the next best thing to having an elite stable of young, dynamic edge players is to have a rotation of the craftiest ones. Baltimore, with both Jadeveon Clowney and now Kyle Van Noy in the fold, alongside some of their more dynamic players up front, can be a maddening combination and a strip sack haven. I can imagine a playoff game turning dramatically because of one of these 30-plus-year-olds. All of the good teams have them."

Interesting. The Ravens are usually pegged as a heavily offensive team thanks to the talents of quarterback Lamar Jackson, but this Baltimore defense has received a lot of love this season, and rightfully so. Allowing just three points in last week's 37-3 win over Seattle is just the latest rendition of strong performances on that side of the ball, and the Ravens have the makings of a complete team as the calendar flips to Week 10 of the NFL season.

The stakes are somewhat raised for the Ravens this coming week. Baltimore will return to division play this week as it plays host to the Cleveland Browns, and so far this season, the Ravens are 2-1 against AFC North foes, knocking off the Browns earlier this season by a final score of 28-3.

Kickoff between Baltimore and Cleveland is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
