Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey OUT Multiple Weeks With Foot Injury
Baltimore Ravens corner Marlon Humphrey will reportedly be out for a month and miss the start of the regular season after suffering a foot injury in practice. According to reports, the injury may require a "medical procedure" to repair, extending the recovery and return time even more.
Per Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, "#Ravens Pro Bowl CB Marlon Humphrey is expected to miss time with an injury that may require a medical procedure and his status for the start of the season is now up in the air, sources tell me and @TomPelissero."
Per Garafalo, Humphrey was able to finish joint practice with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday but did not take the field on Wednesday. With the injury to Humphrey, the cornerback depth chart is shuffled a bit, as Rock Ya-Sin was listed as the No. 2. Ya-Sin could see increased practice time along with second-year defensive back Jalyn Armour-Davis and Kevon Seymour.
Humphrey, 27, started all 17 games for the Ravens a season ago and was the first-round draft pick in 2017 by Baltimore. In six NFL seasons in Charm City, the Crimson Tide alum has registered 347 tackles - 281 solo and 15 for loss - 13 forced fumbles and 12 interceptions in 90 career games.
Humphrey was elected to the Pro Bowl three times, in 2019, 2020, and 2022, while being named first-team All-Pro in 2019.
