Ravens WRs A 'Very Talented Group!'

The Baltimore Ravens have an explosive offense on paper, and new addition Nelson Agholor knows that it will be tough for opposing defenses to stop them all.

The Baltimore Ravens offense has gotten some serious upgrades this offseason, most notably with Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers. But another is Nelson Agholor, who was a free agent.

The veteran receiver knows the type of talent that Lamar Jackson has at his disposal out wide, and he knows opposing defenses can't cover them all.

"I think we're a very talented group that has to continue to work hard and prepare to perform," said Agholor. "The other teams we play against, they have to defend us all; that's the most important thing. And for us, we've just got to make our plays when our number is called."

Agholor is now on his fourth NFL team after spending the last two seasons with the New England Patriots. In that time, Agholor didn't set the world on fire. Through 31 games (21 starts), the veteran receiver totaled 835 yards and five touchdowns while averaging just 26.9 yards per game.

Now a member of the Ravens, Agholor will be looking to make the most of another opportunity, and he knows what he must do in order to become a valuable contributor for Lamar Jackson - catch the football.

"My job and my focus is, if my number is called, and I get an opportunity, take advantage of them," Agholor said. "That's important. If the quarterback gives you opportunity, he trusts you, and you want to keep his trust."

So Agholor is under no illusions about what is in front of him, and with a chip on his shoulder to show the world that he has that first-round talent the Philadelphia Eagles saw back in 2015, then the Ravens might just have made a very savvy move by acquiring him.
